At Aevus, we know that great technology is only half the story. The other half? The people who stand behind it—offering support, solving problems, and showing up when it matters most. That’s where Stephen Potter comes in.
Stephen is our Client Services Technician, and if you’ve worked with Aevus, chances are you already know him—and sing his praises. Known for his approachability, precision, and quick response times, Stephen is the go-to contact for many of our clients and a huge part of what makes working with Aevus such a positive experience.
Stephen joined Aevus in October 2024, bringing with him a calm confidence and a deep understanding of client needs. His journey began in hospitality, before moving into the events space in 2021 with Worldspan, where he worked directly with clients using Aevus products such as Virt-US and Communit-US. His natural ability to build relationships and his eye for detail made the transition into client services a perfect fit.
“I strive to ensure our customers have a good experience when working with our team and our platforms,” Stephen explains. “Seeing our clients succeed—and knowing I’ve played a part in that—is incredibly satisfying.”
Stephen holds a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from Bournemouth University, which perhaps explains his knack for curiosity, careful observation, and getting to the heart of a challenge (plus a pub quiz edge we’d all be lucky to have on our team).
When he’s not working closely with clients or helping finalise events and membership workflows, Stephen enjoys reading, history, football, and—most passionately—the PUB. Whether it’s cheering on his favourite team, sharing a great book recommendation, or dominating a quiz night, Stephen brings the same thoughtful energy to his downtime that he does to his role at Aevus.
